Course Background
Starting from 2007, the Hong Kong College of Emergency Medicine and the American Heart Association have conjoint AHA ACLS Refresher courses in Hong Kong. 

The refresher course provides a chance to update the ACLS skills. 

Course Test
Practical skills and written examination are required. (The MCQ examination passing rate is 84%).

Successful candidate will be given attendance certificates and AHA ACLS e-certificates.

Reading Material
The course material including the AHA ACLS Provider Manual guidelines will be ready for collection after successful application. 

Early application and collection of course materials is much encouraged.

Course Fee
HK$1,600
HK$1,500 for HKCEM Fellows / Trainees; HA Staff and TWAH / UH Nursing student
HK$1,400 for TWAH / UH Staff

Intended Candidate
Personnel who are working in emergency, intensive care, critical care or acute departments/wards; emergency medical providers such as medical officers, nurses, emergency technicians, paramedics and other professionals who need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency.

Course Pre-requisites
Candidates must possess AHA current ACLS Provider certification. Please send photocopy of valid certificate after online registration to College at course@hkcem.org.hk.

Candidates without a valid certification are encouraged to join ACLS Provider Course.
