
Course Background |
Starting from 2007, the Hong Kong College of Emergency Medicine and the American Heart Association have conjoint AHA ACLS Refresher courses in Hong Kong. The refresher course provides a chance to update the ACLS skills. |
Course Test |
Practical skills and written examination are required. (The MCQ examination passing rate is 84%). Successful candidate will be given attendance certificates and AHA ACLS e-certificates. |
Reading Material |
The course material including the AHA ACLS Provider Manual guidelines will be ready for collection after successful application. Early application and collection of course materials is much encouraged. |

Intended Candidate |
Personnel who are working in emergency, intensive care, critical care or acute departments/wards; emergency medical providers such as medical officers, nurses, emergency technicians, paramedics and other professionals who need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency. |
Course Pre-requisites |
Candidates must possess AHA current ACLS Provider certification. Please send photocopy of valid certificate after online registration to College at course@hkcem.org.hk. Candidates without a valid certification are encouraged to join ACLS Provider Course. |
